ABOUT US

Jiang Hu (江湖) is a fansubbing team dedicated to provide people with high quality English subtitles for wuxia dramas and to make wuxia genre more popular. We noticed a general lack of English subtitles in this genre. We also feel that this genre is disproportionately underrepresented in general drama forums. We hope that with our efforts, we can make this genre better known in public.

The term "jiang hu" refers to the pugilistic fraternity in the wuxia stories. In the modern context, it also refers to the mafia circle/environment. You may learn more about this term here.

Translator -- Must be proficient in Mandarin/Cantonese (and English to a good extent)
Timer -- Experience with timing on sound waves is a must.
